Swing Ride, Flying Chairs for sale

The swing ride or flying chair swing ride (sometimes called a swing carousel, wave swinger, yo-yo, Chair-O-Planes or swinger) is a fairground ride that is a variation on the carousel in which the chairs are suspended from the rotating top of the carousel. On some versions, particularly on the Wave Swingers, the rotating top of the carousel also tilts for additional variations of motion.

History

Swing rides were present at the earliest amusement parks. At Idora Park in Oakland, California, in 1908, the fairground ride was called the Flying Swing, but appears to be the same principle.

The Chair-O-Planes premiered in Germany in 1972, designed by Zierer and built by Franz Schwarzkopf, brother of Anton Schwarzkopf. In 1974 the first portable unit debuted under the same partnership. Since then Zierer has built about 200 units. Other manufacturers have followed creating their own versions of the Chair-O-Planes including Zamperla, Chance Rides, Grover Watkins, Bertazzon, Preston & Barbieri, Vekoma and Sanoyas Hishino Meisho.

In the late 2000s, Australian manufacturer Funtime developed the world's first tower swinger known as the Star Flyer. Mondial followed with their WindSeeker resulting in a lawsuit between the two companies. Zamperla also sell a Vertical Swing.

Something About Pirate Ship

A pirate ship is a type of amusement ride, consisting of an open, seated gondola (usually in the style of a pirate ship) which swings back and forth, subjecting the rider to various levels of angular momentum.

Ahoy pirates! No trip to Skull Island would be complete without a ride on a giant authentic pirate ship, the S.S. High Seas! Don’t be fooled by the calm skies, because once you take your seat on this sturdy and swift, full-sized bounty-style pirate ship, you’ll set sail to breathtaking heights and take a rip-roaring voyage through the currents.

There’s a crow’s nest for lookouts, and even a carved figurehead of a woman on the prow of the ship. Pirates put her there to guide the ship through rough waters. You’ll be glad she’s along on this wavy ride!

As the ship starts to rock swiftly up and back to dizzying heights, it feels like the vessel is getting tossed around on the surf. You’ll swing higher and higher until the whole boat is practically vertical. As the ship arcs 180 degrees into the sky, you’ll know these must be some serious untamed waves. Hold onto your hats and get ready for sheer weightlessness, as you hang in the air for a moment, before slamming back down and swinging up the next wild wave with stomach-tightening momentum – in reverse! You’ll feel the wind race by as you soar even higher.

Remember, brave pirates aren’t supposed to scream! This unstoppable velocity would make even the toughest sailor consider walking the plank. But if you’re daring enough, a life of adventure on the High Seas awaits!

The Pirate Boat consists of a steel support structure made up of 4 uprights leaning in from the 4 corners of the rectangular base to meet at the top in a hub. This hub bears the hanging boat using 2 linked spokes.

The center contains all drive and electrical installations and serves also as a trailer to transport the boat (road model).

Drive power for the swinging movement is transmitted to the boat via a drive crank advanced towards the keel and which is fitted with an electrically driven ferris wheel.

amusement park coffee cup rides for sale

Brief introduction of coffee cup rides for sale

Coffee cup rides, also called Cup & Saucer Ride, or Rotating tea cup ride, is the typical ride which reminds us to the world of fairy tales.

The main platform is driven by an hydraulic motor that makes it rotate clockwise while vehicles rotate in both directions.

This attraction has a big capacity of 24 passengers and could be ridden by the whole family. This is the reason why it is considered so classic and popular in SINORIDES Family rides.

Cheap Kids Rides Tea Cup revolute and rotate automatically, at the same time, passengers are free to adjust the speed of the coffee cup rotation, 360 degree rotation, and you will feel a sense of great pleasure. When you are in seats with your children or lover, you will enjoy the warm and sweet atmosphere.

A)Take a coffee cup for a Spin:

Pour yourself into an oversized teacup and twirl quickly or slowly amid a menagerie of color and sound. Celebrate your “unbirthday” in Wonderland as you sail back and forth around a towering teapot beneath a windswept party of paper lanterns, as festive music fills the air.

B)Too Dizzy For Me?

Each coffee cup includes a wheel in the center that lets you control the direction and speed of your spin. If you decide you want a wild ride, simply turn the wheel fast and hold on. If you want a gentler ride, you may opt to not turn the wheel at all. Please be aware that although you can control the spinning, your teacup automatically tosses and turns on the platform deck.

This original MACK Ride is really a must for any amusement park. Millions of riders have been entertained in parks all around the world. Countless custom designs, high quality themes spin guests crazy as they are enjoying their ride.

From ultra modern vessels to the classic tea cups – neither families nor teenagers can resist this spinning whirlwind of a ride.

The whole system consists of 3 different spinning platforms. The big main platform carries 4 smaller platforms and rotates with about 8 rpm. Each small platform comes with 3 cars that are able to spin free. So let's hop in and swirl and twirl.

The Mexican Hat Dance was similar to Disney Tea Cups, lots of spinning. So much spinning that I refused to ride a 2nd time.

Teacups

Teacups is an amusement ride characterized by cup-style spinning vehicles atop a turntable-like floor.

Typically, each set of six teacups has a center bearing mounted underneath, similar to a car wheel bearing mounted on a circular floor capable of turning 360 degrees. The circular floor of the cup sits on a larger turntable-like floor. This is driven by a motor through a starting device, the ride when started begins to spin slowly and build up speed as the operator applies more power. When in operation, the amusement ride operator spins each cup while the turntable spins the entire ride base. They are driven by a motor fixed to the base in either the middle or the outside, the motor fixed in the middle will have a gearbox which changes direction as well as give the correct ratio to the desired speed. The motor fixed on the outside will again have a gearbox but will be attached to a small rubber wheel which sits along the rim under the platform. Either way the end result is achieved and under modern H&S guidelines children's rides should not spin faster than eight times per minute.

How do you tell the lead horse on a carousel?

According to carousel legend, the lead horse of any carousel is always the biggest, most decorative horse. In many instances, this horse is a military or war horse. If a chariot is included in the carousel, the first horse right behind the chariot on the outside is the lead horse.
Carousels are not considered "thrill rides" by any stretch of the imagination. Still, carousels are as reliant on the laws of motion as their more exciting cousins, the roller coasters. It's theoretically possible that, allowed to spin out of control, a carousel could gain enough speed so that the riders would be thrown off. Thankfully, runaway carousels are not the least bit common.

Are some horses moving faster than others?

With all of its beauty and seeming simplicity, the carousel is a delicate balance of motion and forces. All of the merry go round horses move through one complete circle in the same amount of time. The horses on the outside of the carousel have to cover more distance than the inside horses in the same amount of time. This means the horses on the outside have a faster linear speed than those at the hub.

What if they're galloping?

On some carousels, the carousel horses go up and down in a galloping motion simulating what it might be like to ride a real horse. For these carousels, the ride designer had to approach the problem of movement around the central axis differently. In a normal carousel, each horse maintains a constant acceleration, radius, and tangential speed (speed tangent to the circular path of the carousel). If you add a gallop to some of the horses, you must consider the forces needed to change that horse's position upward or downward as it goes around the track. In designing with these forces in mind, you also need to take into account the mass of the horse and its rider.

Mid-Autumn Festival

The day after tomorrow, September 27th, 2015, is the Mid-Autumn Festival, the second most important festival to us Chinese people after the Spring Festival. The holiday lasts from September 26th to 27th. Every year, when the festival comes, Chinese go home from every corner of the country and the world for family reunions.

Welcome to China and explore the traditional folk customs of this interesting festival! And also welcome to visit our factory -- Hotfun Amusement Park Rides Manufacturer.
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival
Falling on the 15th day of the 8th month according to the Chinese lunar calendar, the Mid-Autumn Festival is the second grandest festival after the Spring Festival in China. It takes its name from the fact that it is always celebrated in the middle of the autumn season. The day is also known as the Moon Festival, as at that time of the year the moon is at its roundest and brightest. Amusement Rides for sale

History
Mid-Autumn Festival is an inherited custom of moon sacrificial ceremonies. The ancient Chinese observed that the movement of the moon had a close relationship with changes of the seasons and agricultural production. Hence, to express their thanks to the moon and celebrate the harvest, they offered a sacrifice to the moon on autumn days. Kids Rides Manufacturer

This custom could be traced back to the Zhou Dynasty (1046 - 256 BC) and was more often practiced by the royal class on the Autumnal Equinox. At that time, the custom had no festival background at all. Later in the Sui (581 - 618 AD) and Tang (618 - 907 AD) dynasties, social prosperity inspired the custom of appreciating the moon on the moon sacrifice ceremony day among common people and the two merged. The people expressed their faith more liberally than the royal class and so they did not strictly hold their activities on the Autumnal Equinox. So August 15th of the Chinese lunar calendar, the closest full moon day to the Autumnal Equinox, turned out to be a better choice and was set as a fixed festival. This happened in the Tang Dynasty. By the time of the Northern Song Dynasty (960 - 1127 AD), Mid-Autumn Festival had already become a widely celebrated folk festival.

Romantically speaking, the festival is to commemorate Chang E, who in order to protect her beloved husband’s elixir, ate it herself and flew to the moon.

Legends
In addition to the romantic legend Chang E Flying to the Moon mentioned above, there are many other legends and stories related to this grand festival. The most well-known ones include Jade Rabbit Pounding Medicine, Wu Gang Chopping Laurel Tree, and Zhu Yuanzhang and the Moon Cake Uprising.

Customs
On the festival day, family members gather to offer sacrifice to the moon, appreciate the bright full moon, eat moon cakes, and express strong yearnings toward family members and friends who live afar. In addition, there are some other customs like playing lanterns, and dragon and lion dances in some regions. The unique customs of ethnic minorities are interesting as well, such as “chasing the moon” of Mongolians, and “steal vegetables or fruits” of the Dong people.

Moon Cake
The Moon Cake is the special food of Mid-Autumn Festival. On that day, people sacrifice moon cakes to the moon as an offering and eat them for celebration. Moon cakes come in various flavors according to the region. The moon cakes are round, symbolizing the reunion of a family, so it is easy to understand how the eating of moon cakes under the round moon can evoke longing for distant relatives and friends. Nowadays, people present moon cakes to relatives and friends to demonstrate that they wish them a long and happy life.

Top Places to Celebrate the Festival in China
Some people prefer stay at home to celebrate the festival, while others would like to go outside to have a closer contact with the bright full moon. Over time, some outdoor places become more popular, including ancient man-made sites, natural scenic areas, countryside and skyscrapers, etc.
beautiful light show
Mid-Autumn Festival in other Asian Countries
Due to frequent communications with China and migrations of Chinese people, Mid-Autumn Festival has become popular in other parts of the world, especially neighboring Asian countries where it is celebrated in the same way as in China, while others add their own customs.

The Fun Of The Frisbee Ride

Frisbee Rides /Pendulum Rides are a little like the swing sets you might remember from your childhood. Swings give you a feeling of flying in a controlled manner. You pump your legs to provide enough force to increase the height of the swing's arc, and enjoy the increased velocity of the downward swing. When you stop pumping, the swing gradually slows and then stops.
Frisbee ride also include Giant Frisbee Ride and Kids Frisbee Ride.

What causes the feeling of "weightlessness" on frisbee ride?
Riders often experience near-weightlessness as they approach the top of a Giant Frisbee ride. If the ride is the type that makes a complete 360-degree circle, they experience a feeling of complete weightlessness.
Feelings of weightlessness are not due to a decrease in forces of gravitation; people do not feel forces of gravity. What you feel is the force of a seat (or other external object) pushing on your body with a force to counteract gravity's downward pull. A 180-pound person at rest in his office chair experiences the seat pushing upwards on his body with a force of 180 pounds. Yet at the top of a pendulum ride, the same 180-pound person will feel less than this normal sensation of weight. At the very top of the pendulum ride, riders begin to fall out of their seats. Since a 180-pound person is no longer in full contact with his seat, the seat is no longer pushing on him with 180 pounds of force. Thus, the rider has a sensation of weighing less than his normal weight.
Why do riders experience high g-forces on thrill rides?
As riders pass through the bottom of the circular arc, they often experience high g-forces. Once again, these g-forces are not evidence of increasing forces of gravitation, but the result of increases in the amount of force applied by the seat upon their bodies. Understanding this demands a little information about circular motion.

The motion of an object in a circle requires that there be a force directed toward the center of the circle (sometimes called a "centripetal force"). This means that at the bottom of the circular swing, there must be an upward force (since the circle's center is upward). Gravitational forces are always directed downward upon a rider's body; thus, gravitational forces cannot meet this centripetal force requirement. The seat must supply the centripetal force, pushing upwards on the rider with a force greater than gravity's downward pull. For a 180-pound person, the seat might have to supply 360 pounds of upward pull. This is twice the usual amount experienced by our 180-pound rider. For this reason, we would say the rider experiences 2 g's of force (a seat force that is 2 times the gravity force).

The Origins of 9 Delightful Carnival Rides

You know GEICO’s customer service delights customers, but how well do you know where these delightful carnival rides staples got their starts?

1. FERRIS WHEEL

The Ferris wheel made its debut at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago. At least that’s what George Washington Gale Ferris, Jr. always said. One year earlier, William Somers designed and built three wooden wheels-each measuring 50 feet in diameter-in New York and New Jersey. Both men owed a debt to the similar, yet awkwardly named, wooden “pleasure wheels” invented in 17th century Bulgaria.

2. BUMPER CARS

Bumper car ride may seem like a modern advancement, but we’ve been driving them-and more importantly, crashing them-for a century. There's some dispute over who invented the road-raging carnival favorite, but one thing all scholars can agree on: how difficult early versions were to steer.

3. CAROUSEL

Carousels with wooden horses were first used to give horseback riding lessons to Turkish and Arabian cavalry members. When crusaders returned to Europe, they brought the device back with them. The spinning attraction became especially popular in France, where 17th century riders tried to pierce a target while moving at high speed. The power source? Actual horses!

4. THE ROLLERCOASTER

Although the first patent went to LaMarcus Thompson in 1885, he wasn’t the first person to make a rollercoaster. Modern rollercoasters descended from “Russian Mountains,” winter sled rides that were popular in 17th century St. Petersburg. (Situated on icy hills, the sleds topped out at 200 feet!). Meanwhile, in the states, a Pennsylvanian mining company constructed a “gravity railroad” in 1827 to move coal. But on slow workdays, they charged thrill-seekers to take it for a spin.

5. TUNNEL OF LOVE

Unmarried couples of the late 19th century needed a place to canoodle in public. Love - or, at least hormones - found a way with the boom of so-called carnival "dark rides." As couples wound through the tunnel of love by water or tracks, they were treated to alternating moments of romance (to set the mood) and fright (to encourage an arm over the shoulder).

6. THE MECHANICAL BULL

Until the 1970s, mechanical bulls were strictly used to train cowboys and rodeo competitors. Early practice bulls were basically large barrels suspended from four ropes (people could jostle the barrel by tugging on the ropes or using a pulley mechanism.) The mechanical version, however, was popularized by a Texas businessman who wanted to make his bars more popular.

7. THE WHIP

Patented in 1914, the first whip was made for Coney Island. The attraction-which tamely slings riders around an oval-is rare nowadays, but you can find original models scattered around some old-school parks.

8. THE WIPEOUT

The giant, revolving ride that moves around, up, and down in a wave-like fashion was originally a German attraction known as the Trabant. American innovators brought a bigger and better version stateside, dubbed it The Wipeout, and the rest is history ... as long as you're 48" tall.

9. TILT-A-WHIRL

The ride that launched a thousand stomachaches sprang from the mind of woodworker and waterslide maker Herbert W. Sellner in 1926. It made its debut at the Minnesota State Fair one year later. The story goes that Sellner experimented with the ride’s design by placing a chair on his kitchen table, making his son sit in it, and then rocking the table. The ride is now manufactured in Texas.

Disney Theme Park & Ride Guides

If you’re planning a Disney vacation and want to know which amusement attractions are best, the Disney ride guides are here to help! They have created guides for each of the Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks, plus Tokyo Disney Resort (Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland are coming soon). These guides provide objective scores for each park ride, show, and other attraction based upon how well-done those attractions are when experienced by their target audience. Fantasyland dark rides are reviewed with kids in mind, and intense roller coasters and funfair ride simulators are reviewed with teens and adults in mind.

In addition to basic information and ratings for each Disney attraction, since they know your time is limited, they’ve included strategy! They know your time in the theme parks might be limited, so they mention how you should prioritize popular attractions and whether they’re worth using FastPass or FastPass+ on (not all FastPass attractions are created equally–some don’t even need FastPass, but just have it to provide enough “FastPass capacity” to pull guests away from popular attractions).

Below are the guides, organized by resort with links for the guide to each park at that resort. We hope these guides prove handy when you’re planning your next Disney trip!

You will often find amusement park owners rushing the process because they don’t want to spent too much time focusing one what they are purchasing. This is a risk no one should be taking. You will want to make sure the right type of investment is being made and this is only going to occur when you are willing to sit down and compare options. There are quite a few brands and models on offer, so you have to be willing to look at all of them to assess what you are getting into and what it has to offer as a whole.

Using these tips will ensure you have the kind of trackless trains needed for the amusement park. Don’t take the chance of going with trackless trains that are not properly inspected beforehand because this is when you can start to put forward a solution that is not fit to run. This is the last thing you are going to want to deal with as there are already so many stresses in your life to deal with and this should not be one of them.

Ride the mini trains for free this weekend

Just now I saw a news, a good news, it said as the following:

It’s that time of the month again: mini train weekend at Largo Central Park!
Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6, everyone ages 1 and older can ride the mini trains for free, weather permitting. Pregnant women are not allowed to ride due to insurance regulations.
The event regularly takes place on the first full weekend of each month and is approximately 1.2 miles long, winding through the landscape and various features of the park. Rides are given until 4 p.m., weather permitting.
The mini train rides are free, but they do accept donations to keep the program operating.
The next free train rides weekend will be Oct. 3 and 4.
Largo Central Park is located at 101 Central Park Dr., Largo.

When I read the news, I feel both happy and sad. The happy reason is that there should be free train ride for kids, though I'm not kids any more. Why I'm so sad? it's because I'm in China, its so far away from Largo Central Park, so I have no opportunity to attend it. it's really a pity. However, on the other hand, our manufacturer, Hotfun Park Rides Manufacturer, will manufacture various types of amusement park rides, especially kids rides, I can ride them when the running test. Surely it's free also. Haha, suddenly I feel I'm so lucky!

At last, welcome you come to visit our factory, hope we have opportunity to cooperate! By the way, any kid who lives near to Largo Central Park don't forget to ride the free trains!

When can my baby go on kiddie rides at the amusement park?

Your child should be able to sit up by himself without support before you bring him on any amusement park ride, even one as seemingly harmless as a mini carousel. Most children can sit up well by about 7 or 8 months, but that doesn't mean you can strap your child in and then go stand on the sidelines to watch. Until your child is at least 2, keep your hands on him at all times when he's on a ride, even if it has a seatbelt.

Once your child is over 2, he'll need to meet minimum height and age requirements for each ride before the park attendants will let him on. For instance, to ride the Matterhorn at Disneyland, children must be "at least 35 inches tall and 3 years old," says John McClintock, a spokesperson for the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. Use your own judgment as well. Amusement rides can be fast, bumpy, and scary. Even when your child is tall enough to go on a ride, he might not be emotionally ready.

Many theme parks are specifically designed to include activities or areas for young children. If you have both older and younger children, plan to go to a large park that has a variety of park rides and spectacles for each of their age groups.

Kiddie rides and personal use

While amusement kiddie rides are primarily used to garner extra income for commercial areas like shopping malls, supermarkets and amusement centers, like classic arcade game machines they are becoming increasingly common in homes in many developed countries, usually bought by game collectors and families, being a type of family rides generally. This renaissance is being led by Denver-based Kiddie Rides USA, and has received coverage in many magazines including Time, Fortune, United Airline's Hemispheres, and on CNBC.

Many of the kiddie rides for sale are ex-location units which have been written off by the original owner, usually to make way for newer games or rides, and bought for a fraction of what they would cost brand new, either directly from the previous owner or on online auction sites like eBay.

Character kiddie rides

In many cases, kiddie rides in the likes of famous cartoon characters or objects from TV shows or movies can be also found, usually at bigger shopping malls that can afford them due to the higher purchasing costs. A classic example would be the Batmobile ride mentioned earlier. One model looks like a miniature Batmobile on a stand, and occasionally flashes lights and plays a short tune from a Batman movie at set intervals.

Another example of a character kiddie ride would be a Clifford the Big Red Dog kiddie ride, manufactured by Jolly Roger Ltd of the United Kingdom and licensed by Scholastic UK. The ride costs around US$5000 purchased new. It talks in a girl's voice (presumably the voice of Emily Elizabeth) and plays the theme song from the PBS KidsTV series when it is ridden. A button to make Clifford bark also exists on the ride. Another is a Bob the Builder ride, which features Bob climbing onto Scoop with 4 sounds (made in 1998) (another version has got Roley with 3 phrases (made in 2003), the Scoop version has Pilchard in his shovel). Including a Mario Kart ride manufactured by OMC Electronics Ltd. of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire and licensed to Nintendo which features Mario climbing on the back of the kid's seat. Also, Merkur Kids, the German manufactuer has made a Cars ride where it features Lightning McQueen with brake and accelerate pedals, a green button (does a horn) and a yellow button (to hear Luigi say "You are a famous race car, a real race car", while they also made another Lightning McQueen ride but in Dinoco, and Mater. Thomas has been made as a kiddie ride with 4 push buttons which do "You're a really useful engine" (Thomas: blue), "I need you to help the other engines" (The Fat Controller: yellow), a whistle sound (James: red) and a steam sound (Percy: green). Jolly Roger Ltd also made him as another ride, also with a video available plays the theme tune and a red push button to blow Thomas' whistle. Including a Dora the Explorer ride manufactured by Polifibra Spain. Kaede minani ride manufactured by Italy. Hatsune Miku ride manufactured by Spain, Portugal and China. Aircraft ride manufactured by Hot Fun Park Rides Manufacture Co., Ltd, China.

Character rides costs much more than generic rides when purchased new. The higher cost stems from the royalty of the voice samples and theme song as well as character licensing fees.

Knockoff rides that feature figures that look like those of famous cartoon characters exist. commonly knocked off characters include: Pikachu from Pokémon, Disney's Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, and Hello Kitty. They are cheaper than real licensed rides, and are typically found at smaller establishments. However, as the name suggests, they are not licensed, and in certain areas with high intellectual property rights recognition, purchasers of knockoff rides can potentially get themselves entangled with legal complications. Furthermore, the ride figure might not be designed to look as close to a licensed character compared to genuinely licensed rides, possibly resulting in diminished recognition.
